ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Staff Engineer, Data Streaming who knows how these systems work under the hood - not just how to tune them, but how to build them from scratch. You'll own the technical direction for Helius' streaming infrastructure, which delivers real-time Solana state changes to thousands of developers and institutions worldwide. This is a role for someone who has operated in low-latency, high-uptime environments where reliability is the product - trading systems, financial infrastructure, or similar - and who brings that same obsession to customer-facing systems at scale. You'll work closely with engineers and founders to define what we build and how we build it.

The Data Streaming team builds and operates products like Laserstream https://www.helius.dev/laserstream that deliver real-time Solana state changes to thousands of developers and institutions around the world. Latency, reliability, and throughput aren't just engineering concerns here — they're the product. The team moves fast, owns a large surface area, and sits in the critical path of the company's growth.
