Sr. Executive Sourcer

Perplexity is seeking an experienced Executive Sourcer to collaborate with our most senior Execs and Recruiting leaders. This role is intended for those who can influence, drive, and curate against a vision; all while navigating the chaos and ambiguity that is inherently present when attempting to craft one of the industry’s most talent dense AI Organizations. This position demands more than standard sourcing; it requires a blend of operational excellence, a unique ability to fashion compelling narratives, rooted in a deep grasp of the AI industry and technical ecosystem. You will not only track the evolution of AI-driven recruitment but actively deploy these emerging tools to uncover hidden talent signals that outpace the broader market. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Research, identify, and engage senior engineering and technical leadership—managers through executives—across multiple disciplines - Use a wide range of sourcing strategies, including advanced research, org-level talent mapping, referrals and network development, AI-assisted automation, and creative outreach, to build credible slates for hard-to-fill leadership roles - Partner with Leadership Recruiters and executives to deeply understand the charter behind each role and calibrate profiles with accuracy and nuance—including pushing back when the market says the scope or level is mis-specified - Run discreet, peer-level outreach that earns a reply from leaders who aren't looking, with the discretion confidential searches require - Track and analyze pipeline data—coverage against the map, response and conversion by segment, pass reasons—to drive continuous optimization of the search - Operate with agility, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, confidential searches, and changing team needs WHAT YOU BRING - Exceptional technical literacy, comfortable navigating complex technical conversations, parsing nuanced skill sets, and understanding the architecture of software and AI roles—plus the judgment to asse
