This role will work from our Tokyo office and report directly to the Head of PR & Communications, APAC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR and communications, a deep understanding of the tech industry, and is experienced in balancing strategic and hands-on work to create earned impact. This is a matrixed role collaborating across APAC and Global Marketing teams to generate brand awareness, manage reputation, and create thought leadership for Adyen. What you do: Develop and execute in-market PR strategies and programs to drive media coverage. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, commercial leads, and with senior leadership to craft compelling messaging and local storylines Ensure alignment with the company's strategic direction across all of Japan’s external communications channels to ensure consistent messaging and positive brand positioning Work with Japan marketing and business leads to enhance efforts to generate favorable opinion about the market in the region, and garner local and regional media attention Collaborate with global and regional communications teams to ensure coordinated, accurate, consistent and effective content and messages Manage and own key media relationships in
