Databricks is seeking a Real Estate Strategic Planning Lead to join our Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) team. Reporting to Global Real Estate Strategy & Transactions, this highly visible and impactful role will be responsible for portfolio planning, scenario planning, and portfolio optimization across Databricks’ global real estate portfolio. The role will support executive decision-making through strategic analysis, financial modeling, and business case support to inform key real estate decisions.
The impact you will have:
Partner with Finance and Real Estate Leadership to maintain REWS long-range portfolio plan
Create and maintain flexible portfolio models and manage complex scenario planning initiatives
Develop portfolio optimization recommendations aligned with business growth, financial objectives, and employee experience
Conduct financial, operational, and portfolio analyses to support strategic real estate decision-making
Support development of executive-ready business cases, presentations, and strategic recommendations
Translate complex portfolio tradeoffs into clear, data-driven insights and actionable recommendations
Develop and maintain recurring portfolio reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics
Conduct ad hoc analyses and decision support for high-priority REWS cross-functional initiatives
Partner with Finance, Workplace, People, IT, and Real Estate stakeholders globally to support portfolio planning initiatives
Help establish scalable planning frameworks, reporting standards, and governance processes as Databricks continues to grow
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
7+ years of experience in a combination of Real Estate, Finance, Strategy, Management Consulting, or related fields with a track record of suc
