Department: Accounting / Finance Reports to: Director, Platform Accounting About the Role FalconX is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Global Finance Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of accounting processes, contributing to our mission of unlocking financial freedom and scaling returns efficiently within the cryptocurrency industry. Responsibilities Lead the Trading Pillar: Direct a team focused on the day-to-day operations and month-end close for spot trading, DeFi, and market-making workstreams. Digital Asset Accounting: Execute accounting for complex trading strategies, including Mark-to-Market (MTM) valuations, cost-basis tracking, and realized/unrealized gain/loss analysis. DeFi & Smart Contract Oversight: Manage the accounting treatment for DeFi activities, including liquidity provisioning, yield farming, and interactions with various decentralized protocols.
