Performance Engineer (China Market)

Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Trading Performance Engineer to join our growing Trading Performance team in Hong Kong. This position offers flexibility in work location, we are open for this candidate to base either in Hong Kong or Shanghai . As part of the Trading Performance team, you will be able to contribute directly to Flow Traders’ core business and have direct impact on our trading results. The key focus of the role will be to enhance the efficiency and speed of our trading stack. You will work closely with traders and technology teams, analyzing data to drive improvements through technology. What You Will Do Identify and implement solutions that focus on optimizing and improving the overall performance of our trading stack, utilizing low-latency technologies like microwave links and FPGAs Capture and evaluate network data, develop prototypes for performance solutions, and automate processes Use data-driven insights to enhance trading results, reverse engineer systems. Designing and performing statistical experiments to interpret emerging real-world observations Investigate latency issues and bottlenecks. Be a key advisor to our Trading department on recommended technology setups that will further improve trading performance Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve latency issues and improve overall system efficiency Identify, analyze and test the potential of various new technologies that can be included in our infrastructure and provide clear justification to the business for implementation What You Need to Succeed MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering
