You will independently own accounting areas up to trial balance level, review work prepared by others, and run improvement initiatives end ‑ to ‑ end. The role combines hands ‑ on accounting responsibility with senior ‑ level coordination, review, and project ownership within Record ‑ to ‑ Report. What you will do Act as the right hand to the Head of Business Accounting, supporting the day ‑ to ‑ day leadership of Record ‑ to ‑ Report activities Work closely with your direct manager on planning, prioritisation, and delivery across month ‑ end close and reporting cycles Take end ‑ to ‑ end responsibility for day ‑ to ‑ day accounting for assigned entities/areas within the general ledger Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including complex accruals, prepayments, estimates, and corrections Perform and review bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations, resolving differences independently Lead and coordinate assigned parts of the month ‑ end close and trial balance preparation Independently run projects within Record ‑ to ‑ Report, such as process improvements, clean ‑ ups, automation initiatives, and system changes Maintain and review fixed asset and prepaid expense registers and related reconciliations Prepare and review reporting packs and supporting schedules for internal management, auditors, and other stakeholders Act as first-line contact for audit requests, preparing audit support and responding to queries with limited supervi
