Flow Traders is looking for entrepreneurial, competitive, and analytical students to join our New York Trading team as a Trading Intern for Summer 2027. Spend your summer experiencing what it’s like to be a Trader in the financial capital of the world!
The trading internship will take place over nine weeks in our New York office, beginning in early June through early August. During the program, you will have the opportunity to explore your interest in trading, while being fully immersed in the excitement on our Trading floor. As an intern, you will get a 360-degree view of Flow Traders’ role in the financial markets, how our Traders seize arbitrage opportunities, and how they work together as a team to optimize and improve their desk. Together with your intern class, you will solve problems, participate in trading simulations, and work on trading projects with our traders.
No prior experience is required. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about trading and eager to learn how to apply their quantitative skills in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Learn directly from industry leaders on the New York trading floor
Participate in structured educational courses and hands-on trading simulations
Develop and test trading strategies through project-based work using quantitative models and trading tools
Collaborate with Traders and Quantitative Researchers to solve real-world trading challenges
Gain in-depth exposure to Flow Traders’ core business and market-making activities
Engage in intern events and become an integral part of our collaborative “One Team” culture
What You Need to Succeed
Candidate for a Bachelor’s degree studying in the United States with a major in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related
Class of 2028, preferred
Demonstrable interest in trading and global financial markets
Excellent mental math, quantitative and analytical skills
Proficiency in Exc
