Junior Market Risk Manager

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Risk Manager to join our growing EMEA Market and Credit Risk team. What you will do Interact closely with trading desks to become intimately familiar with their exposures, trading strategies and market activity Perform trading desk risk assessments to update identified market- and credit risks, monitoring requirements, market risk stress tests, and limits Analyze trading desks’ capital usage and return on capital, connecting it to entity-level risk capacity Ensure the required tools and reports to facilitate risk analysis are in place This role is full time onsite in our Amsterdam location This role includes participation in a weekend on-call rotation, with coverage required approximately once per month. What you need to succeed Relevant university degree in Econometrics, Mathematics or Finance Proactive mindset, problem solving/analytical skills, willingness to learn, and fluency in English Clear and concise communicator Ability to adapt quickly in our fast paced environment Experience with Excel, SQL, Python and/or C# Interest in applying AI and automation tools to improve processes and risk analysis Have strong affinity to work in a trading firm and interest in asset cla
