MongoDB is seeking an Associate on the Pricing & Monetization team to own decisions on how we deliver products and drive sustainable revenue growth. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of product strategy, engineering, analytics, finance, and business operations, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and translate ambiguous business problems into structured product recommendations.
This position requires a driven self-starter with proven experience in building data-driven business cases, communicating complex recommendations to leadership, and operating cross-functionally to solve business problems. You take tasks from start to finish, are able to deliver value quickly, and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment. You are interested in both diving deep into product data and also extracting executive-level insights to drive strategic decision-making.
This role can be based out of our Toronto office or remotely in the Toronto region.
Responsibilities
Lead pricing and packaging strategies for new product launches and for adjustments to existing offerings, including analyzing historical customer data, building business cases, and evaluating trade-offs
Own complex financial and operational models (e.g. revenue, margin, customer cohorting, usage models) to quantify the impact of pricing and monetization decisions
Partner with Finance, Engineer, Product Management, and GTM to develop and execute cohesive strategies that align with customer needs, product roadmap, and financial objectives
Communicate strategic insights and recommendations to leadership
Conduct competitive benchmarking to understand market dynamics and R&D investment opportunities
Drive cross-functional execution to operationalize decisions around SKUs, billing, selling, tooling, and performance of product changes
