About the Role We are looking for a Compliance & Prevention Associate to join our Complaints Management & Prevention team on our journey to bring N26 Operations to the next level. Reporting directly to the Complaints Compliance & Prevention Manager, you will serve as the operational engine executing regulatory remediation deliverables, conducting deep-dive Root Cause Analyses (RCA), performing data population reconciliations, and enforcing compliance checks on complaint handling output across all of our markets with focus on Germany. What You Will Do Remediation Execution: Crucial role in audit findings compliance and remediation, working directly with auditors, remediation teams and management to assure timely delivery of projects and initiatives. Compliance Maintenance: Draft and update Written Orders (SfOs), Work Instructions, process maps, and operational guidelines to resolve open regulatory action items. Case-Level RCA Investigations: Perform deep-dive case investigations across different complaints’ markets to identify underlying technical, process, or operational root causes rather than surface-level symptoms. Audit Evidence Compilation: Collect, verify, structure, and archive Test of Design (ToD) and Test of Effectiveness (ToE) evidence packages for internal and external control reviews. Quality & Output Compliance: Support qualitative and quantitative compliance verification on complaint output, validating SLA calculations, delay communication triggers, and conflict-of-interest checks. What You Will Bring Minimal requirements: 4+ years of proven experience in compliance controls, assurance, banking operations or complaints management in German financial space, full working proficiency in German language. Background & Experience: professional experience in consulting, assurance functions, financial regulation, banking quality assurance, or audit support.
