About the role
The Controllership Specialist (Cash Management) role is critical to safeguarding Nu’s liquidity, financial integrity, and operational resilience in Brazil. You will sit in the Cash Management Brazil team, within FINOPS (Financial Operations), responsible for managing our corporate bank accounts (excluding Central Bank accounts), including Brazilian entities and offshore holdings.
This is a highly hands-on, operations-driven position: you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of bank accounts (opening, maintenance, closure), cash positioning, and SOX controls, while also pushing automation and smart use of AI to make our processes more robust and efficient. You will be a key point of contact for internal teams and external banking partners, including in English-speaking forums.

Managing global / multi-entity cash positions: Control the daily cash position across multiple entities and banks, ensuring a consolidated and reliable view of balances.
Owning high-criticality payment operations: Execute and oversee high-value transfers, ensuring accuracy, adherence to cut-offs, and robust contingency plans.
