BACK OFFICE OPERATIONS MANAGER A CAREER WITH POINT72’S BACK OFFICE OPERATIONS TEAM At Point72, the Back Office Operations team is responsible for the daily reconciliation of all cash balances in Point72’s accounting system to prime brokers on a T+1 basis. The team is responsible for ensuring that all bookings, trade and non-trade related activities are recorded accurately and appropriately. In addition, this team is responsible for reference data maintenance and management. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Serve as the founding hire and leader of a newly established reconciliations and operational control function, with full ownership to recruit, develop, and manage a team • Design and implement a scalable operating model to support a global, fast paced investment organization, including coverage, controls, escalation paths, and service-level standards. • Own and oversee daily reconciliations; supervise issue investigation and resolution and ensure timely resolution of breaks. • Establish performance management frameworks, including KPIs, quality metrics, and continuous improvement processes to measure team effectiveness and operational excellence. • Partner closely with Technology to define requirements, design, test, and deploy system enhancements; improve existing workflows; and build new processes to streamline and automate reconciliations. • Work closely with prime brokers, custodians, administrators, and other third parties to timely resolve breaks. • Act as a senior escalation point for complex breaks, working directly with counterparties and internal stakeholders to drive resolution. • Identify, prioritize, and deliver automation and straight through processing initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and control. • Build strong partnerships across Trading, Compliance, Stock Loan, Legal, Risk, Financial Reporting, Tax, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology to resolve issues and enhance end to end operational outcomes. • Embed a strong control mindset, ensuring proc
