Squarespace is a design-centric company that empowers anyone to stand out and sell online. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Client Engagement Group (CEG), the suite of tools that helps entrepreneurs understand, manage, and grow their customer relationships.
CEG spans CRM and Automations: the Contacts experience that turns customer data into business decisions, and the Automations engine that lets sellers scale by putting manual tasks on autopilot. Depending on where you land, you might be making a complex workflow feel effortless, or turning a dense dataset into something a seller can act on at a glance. Either way, the challenge is the same: powerful technology that feels invisible.
You’ll Get To…
Simplify the complex. Whether it's a multi-step automation or a data-rich contact view, you'll take sophisticated functionality and make it feel obvious.
Design for real business logic. Build experiences that handle triggers, conditions, branching workflows, and customer data without exposing the machinery underneath.
Lead data visualization. Create ways to surface audience growth, customer health, and engagement metrics that are meaningful and actionable, not just present.
Think end-to-end. Consider the full seller journey, from a lead's first interaction to long-term loyalty, and ensure your work connects seamlessly across the platform.
Prototype motion and state. Use high-fidelity prototyping to define how users interact with live data, background processes, and complex UI states.
Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with PMs, Engineers, and Researchers to shape strategy, define constraints, and ship great work.
Drive craft and systems. Champion quality design and contribute to scalable frameworks that raise the bar across the team.
Who We’re Looking For
6+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio showing complex systems (workflow tools, data-rich interfaces, or logic-heavy applications) made simple and human-centered
